Participants will learn how to use data to inform practices that support student and family outcomes. The training builds on an awareness of data terminology as established in Data Basics to examine data use in early childhood settings. This training explores how to distinguish between multiple levels, purposes and sources of data and analyze the differences to make informed decisions. Participants can apply the lessons from the training to their daily work, no matter what type or quantity of data their programs collect. Early childhood providers will learn how to cultivate a climate and infrastructure of data utilization that drives continuous quality improvement.
