This training will help you learn how to use math in creative ways with children from birth - 5 years. Why math matters - Math skills are just one part of a larger web of skills that children are developing in the early years - including language, physical, and social/emotional skills. Each of these skill areas is dependent on and influenced by the others. Math builds reasoning, which leads to comprehension in all areas of development. Developing a mentally organized way of thinking is critical for that comprehension to build, and to make that happen, we need to provide high-quality math education at an early age.
