Research & Evaluation

The Clayton Early Learning Research & Evaluation Department partners with organizations to develop, evaluate and improve strategies that advance early childhood-related missions and initiatives. We provide customized research, evaluation and community-based assessment services; consultation, resources and tools; and thought-partnership within an applied learning community based on our own living laboratory at Clayton Early Learning. We use a collaborative, consultative approach that combines community-tailored assessment strategies with early childhood-specific study design and methods and rigorous data analysis to support a passion for impact in the lives of children and families.

Our large, diverse team focus their efforts on evaluation, research and quality improvement projects (including the national cross-site Educare Implementation Evaluation Study), local Clayton Early Learning evaluations (including school and home-based options) and the Denver Preschool Program Kindergarten Readiness Evaluation, Denver Preschool Program CLASS Quality Ratings, Colorado Shines Statewide Inter-rater Reliability System and other contract partnerships.
