Clayton Welcomes New CFO

A seasoned financial executive, Jane Williams joined the Clayton Early Learning executive management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in August 2018. After several years in Minnesota, Jane and her husband fulfilled a lifelong dream of living in Colorado when they moved their family to Evergreen in 2017.

With a love of hiking, boating and all things outdoors, Jane has found Colorado to be all that she imagined, and her new role at Clayton has been the icing on the cake.

“The Clayton staff has been incredibly welcoming, and helpful,” said Jane. “And I am so impressed and inspired by the work that takes place here. I look forward to contributing to the success of such a vibrant and diverse organization.”

As CFO, Jane has primary responsibility for all financial-related activities at Clayton Early Learning, including accounting, finance, forecasting and budgeting, federal/state and private grant fiscal compliance, financial strategic planning and investment portfolio management.  Jane brings more than 20 years of experience working in accounting and finance for non-profit educational organizations, including the Science Museum of Minnesota and the nationally recognized liberal arts institution the College of Saint Benedict.  She also has worked in the for-profit law and small-business manufacturing/retail industries. Jane has a B.A. in business administration and accounting.

“We are thrilled to have Jane on our team,” said Clayton President and CEO Charlotte Brantley. “She brings a rich non-profit financial background and solid leadership skills that have already proven to be an incredible asset to our organization.”

Jane has three children – actually four – if you count her 200-pound Newfoundland Milo. When she’s not at work or exploring her new home state, Jane also enjoys traveling, reading and playing board games.
