Clayton Early Learning, Colorado Children's Campaign and Children's Hospital Colorado have teamed up to host the fifth annual advocacy day on Wednesday March 16, 2016. Bringing together advocates for kids from across the state, Speak Up for Kids gives an insider view to the policy making process at the Colorado State Capitol—and how everyday people can make a difference. Join child advocates, including parents, service providers and others to understand the latest issues in early childhood policy-making, acquire new advocacy skills and talk to lawmakers to ensure Colorado's youngest children are at the forefront of their minds as they draft, debate and vote on policy.
What is Speak Up for Kids?
Speak Up for Kids is a training and advocacy day in which participants will explore the latest issues in early childhood and
child health policy, acquire new advocacy skills and talk to lawmakers to ensure Colorado’s youngest children are a
priority as they draft, debate and vote on policy.
