Bright by Three Joins Clayton Early Learning Campus
DENVER - March 11 - Clayton Early Learning, a leader in early childhood education, research and training, is excited to announce a strengthened commitment to its mission with the addition of new campus tenant Bright by Three.
Bright by Three, formerly Bright Beginnings, is a nonprofit founded in 1995 by then-Gov. Roy Romer and former Procter & Gamble Chairman Brad Butler. It works with 700 organizations across the state to offer a free, three-step program - delivered in person or via digital technology - to empower parents and caregivers to support healthy development and give Colorado's youngest children the best start in life. Bright by Three served over 25,000 parents and caregivers in 2014. They expect far higher numbers in 2015 thanks to the launch of Bright by Text, an educational text messaging service that sends weekly parenting tips targeted to a child's age and developmental stage Enrolling in the Bright by Three program is now as simple as texting "BRIGHT" to 444999.
Bright by Three moved its headquarters from offices at 7th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard to its new space at 3605 Martin Luther King Blvd. in January after a long-time interest in relocating to the Clayton campus.
"The Clayton Early Learning campus is an esteemed hub for early learning in the state, and Bright by Three is honored to be located here and to be part of this movement," says Bright by Three CEO Jean McSpadden. "We are excited for the opportunity to further align and integrate our efforts to ensure every child in Colorado is ready for a lifetime of learning and success. It is a privilege for Bright by Three to be a part of this historic campus with such a long history of serving Denver's children."
Bright by Three's new location houses employee workspace, training space and several work stations in its call center where volunteers enter data and conduct surveys with participants of the Bright by Three program.
"Bright by Three is a critical component of Colorado's efforts to improve outcomes for our youngest children," says Clayton Early Learning President and CEO Charlotte Brantley. "We could not be happier to have them join our campus, giving us the opportunity to strengthen the joint efforts between our two organizations."
