Programs and Services

Clayton Early Learning Institute and Clayton Educare, the collaborative programs of Clayton Early Learning, are working to close the opportunity gaps for Colorado children and their families.

Clayton Educare provides direct services to some 300 children and their families, and serves as a perpetual demonstration site for the latest approaches to early childhood learning.

Clayton Institute focuses on researching, creating, and evaluating new and effective practices in early education. These practices are fully integrated into the learning environment at Clayton Educare and in childhood education programs and services throughout Denver and the state.

Clayton's mission of "improving early childhood education through direct services to children and professionals, research, and advocacy" is evident in key programs areas: teacher/professional education, leadership development, coaching and consulting, and program evaluation.

With children's success in school and society top of mind, Clayton staff incubates and exports innovative approaches to early childhood learning to children and families through Clayton Educare, professional development opportunities for the early childhood community, and research and evaluation that leads to better learning outcomes for young children.
