Dads Making a Difference

Research tells us that boys and girls who grow up with an involved father, as well as an involved mother, have stronger cognitive and motor skills, are healthier, become better problem-solvers, and are more confident, curious and empathetic. They also show greater moral sensitivity and self-control.

Fathers and father figures play an essential role in children’s well-being and their participation can help our program become more effective in achieving positive outcomes for children.  As a male role model, fathers bring unique contributions to parenting that no one else can provide. Join our Dads Making a Difference group as we bring male role models together to support one another, to learn more about the challenges and opportunities of fatherhood and to engage in interactive activities with their children.  Check out our events calendar for dates and times.
