Sheryl has over 30 years of experience within the field of education. She holds current teaching certificates in Colorado and Texas. Her classroom experience includes early childhood, kindergarten and primary grades. Sheryl has participated in developing and implementing reading, cooperative learning, and computer science curricula. She is particularly skilled at applying curricular intentionality within developmentally appropriate practice. In her current role, she is a professional development coach and coaches for several initiatives. She helps create and facilitate various trainings for the early childhood community in the Denver area. Sheryl has an undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Elementary Education and 41 hours of graduate coursework in Education and Child Psychology. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree in Education and Human Resources with an emphasis in Adult Education and Training from Colorado State University.
