Michelle Mackin-Brown has over 10 years experience as an administrator in home-based education and family engagement programs and 14 years of experience working in the field of Early Childhood Education.  Prior to joining Clayton, Michelle was  an administrator in a local school district working with culturally and socio-economically diverse families living in Title I school attendance areas.  She has worked with district parent advisory councils focusing on family engagement in education.  She has taught in infant, toddler and preschool classrooms and has worked as a home visitor.  Michelle has been a National Trainer for HIPPY USA since 2004.  Michelle is an AmeriCorps alum.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Land Use, Resource and Environment from Metro State College in 1994.  She is a fellow in the Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program and will graduate with her Master’s in Educational Administration from University of Denver in 2012.
