A native to Denver, Colorado, LaShawn Love has spent what seems like a life time dedicating herself to the educational well-being of struggling children in the Denver area. LaShawn currently works in the field of Early Childhood Education were she lends her talents as an Education Mentor Coach at Educare Denver at Clayton Early Learning. LaShawn graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development, a minor in Early Childhood Education. In 2013 LaShawn received an Early Childhood Coaching Certificate through the Colorado Coaching Consortium offered at the University of Colorado Denver. LaShawn is currently a fellow with the Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program at University of Colorado Denver, where she plans to get her Master's Degree. Throughout her career, she has worked in various positions, such as Elementary Education K-3 teacher and Coach, Family Childcare provider, infant/toddler teacher, preschool teacher and scheduling coordinator. LaShawn is a mother of three and a grandmother of one and enjoys being married to her childhood love.
