Jan Hommes has worked in the field of early childhood education in diverse capacities for over 19 years. Her wide range of experience includes kindergarten and third grade teacher, substitute teacher at all levels, program administration, training teachers through workshops and college level classes, and consulting with programs on program quality improvement. In her current position, Jan is responsible for overseeing Clayton Educare teacher training, education, and credentialing, collaborating with higher education institutions relative to observation and practicum opportunities, and supporting curriculum training and enrichment within the Educare program. Jan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education.
