Dawn Sweeney began working with preschool children in 2004 while pursuing her Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Upon graduation in 2006, she became the Lead Teacher in a preschool classroom. Continuing her education, Dawn earned her Bachelor of Arts, Human Development in 2008 and immediately followed up with a Master of Education, Early Childhood Education in 2010. Since that time, Dawn has worked as a Lead Teacher/Supervisor at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH and a Director of an Infant/Toddler program in Denver, CO. Dawn joined Clayton Educare in December of 2010 and continues to develop research on the topic of “Helping Children Cope with Disaster.”
