Message from the President
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I want to personally welcome you to Clayton Early Learning and share our excitement about the opportunities that lie ahead for Colorado’s youngest children. There are so many important initiatives underway across the state focused on ensuring that all our children are thriving and reaching their full potential. We are pleased to be partnering with many of you on a number of these initiatives. Much of this work is explored in our newly revised website, under the categories of Research, Practice and Training.
We have reorganized the content of our site to make it more user friendly and to make our blog and announcement features easier to find. I invite you to take a spin through our new site and send your feedback to me at cbrantley@claytonearlylearning.org.
Looking ahead to 2012, we are eager to continue our involvement in teacher professional development; STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education for preschoolers; early childhood language and literacy development; community engagement in creating ready schools, ready children and ready families; and identification of teaching and classroom practices that result in the most positive child outcomes. We will periodically report on each of these areas and add new content to our site as it becomes available. In the next few months we will also be launching a new online training component. Watch for more details!
We wish you the best in the 2012.
Sincerely,
Charlotte M. Brantley
President and CEO
